Start Date: October 5, 2024-May 31, 2024

Hours: 10-15 hours per week, Hybrid

Role Summary and Information

Student Recruitment

• Data Management and Enrollment Tracking
• Fully familiarize yourself with Sankofa Montessori Enrollment Policy and Registration platform
• Monitor and contact all social leads that Sankofa receives
• Support families in accessing and navigating Registration platform
• Maintain tracking systems for enrollment
• Lend innovations to current recruitment plan strategy
• Digital Marketing and Footprint Expansion
• Support enrollment manager in virtual recruitment events (virtual info sessions, virtual orientations, etc.)
• Create social media calendar and support management of Sankofa’s Instagram
• Connect with digital social groups to maximize Sankofa’s digital presence
• In- Person Recruitment
• Scout and contact many local recruitment sites, schools, events, venues, plazas, etc. 
• Support recruitment manager with set-up, marketing and breakdown at in-person recruitment events
• Assist in organizing family led recruitment outings/campaigns
• Family and Stakeholder Engagement 
• Maintain a particularly positive rapport with prospective families
• Answer phone calls with the proper knowledge

Requirements

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
• Work collaboratively with a growth mindset. Give and receive feedback in a spirit of craftsmanship.
• Strong learning orientation and desire to work in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
• Can complete physical demands of the role (including standing and walking for extended periods of time and lifting heavy objects up to 40 Ibs)
• Unwavering commitment to Sankofa Montessori’s mission and willingness to go above and beyond to meet the needs of Sankofa Montessori students, families, and staff
• Successful background check results required

Benefits

COMPENSATION

Sankofa Montessori’s compensation philosophy is to pay competitively for the PK-12 charter market to ensure equity across our institution. We pay between $20-$25 per hour for this role based on experience.
