Position Title : Staff Engineer (Req# 2239584)

Develop new features and services that are medium-very high level of complexity working with the product/platform/infrastructure/security team. Design, code, test, deploy & support working software/technology component, working collaboratively with architects and other engineers. Build systems and services that have immediate impact for our business. Create Threat Model, Architecture, Estimates, Design, Code, COTS configuration for the required business feature. Responsible for code analysis, debugging, review and execution of unit/integration tests. Create test automation scripts. Responsible for delivering clean, secure, performant code /technology component that meets all the non-functional requirements. Responsible for achieving operational excellence as part of delivering feature. Act in Lead Engineer capacity for medium to large initiatives, prioritizing and assigning tasks, providing guidance and resolving issues. Set up application jobs, creates test data, and supports deployment, all at a medium to very high level of complexity. Lead discussions on design approaches to solving visible, strategic and complex business problems. Adhere to Sarbanes Oxley compliance and all TJX Company standards as applicable. Position is fixed location based in Marlborough, MA office; however, telecommuting from a home office may also be allowed 100% of the time.
Job Requirements :
Requires a Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Engineering (any field), Information Technology Management or a directly related field plus five (5) years of experience as an Engineer or in an Information Technology role.
Three (3) years of experience in the following (experience may be gained concurrently):
Two (2) years of experience in the following (experience may be gained concurrently):
One (1) year of experience in the following (experience may be gained concurrently):
Will accept a Master's degree plus three (3) years of experience in Information Technology Management, or related field in lieu of a Bachelor's degree plus five (5) years of experience.
