JOB SUMMARY
Performs carpentry work at the journeyman level by applying trade skills to construct, erect, install, fabricate, dismantle, and repair structures, formwork, framing of wood, metal, and other related building materials.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Four (4) years’ experience in at least one of the areas described in the essential functions.
A valid Driver’s License issued by the State of Utah shall be required at the time of hire.
Due to the nature of this position, the successful applicant must pass a required pre-employment background check and subsequent mandatory background checks in accordance with current County Human Resources policy requirements.
Must receive a verified negative test result on a mandatory drug test before starting in this position. Will be subject to random alcohol and drug testing. May be subject to post accident and reasonable suspicion alcohol and drug testing.
Roofer
installs, maintains and repairs roofs of all types.
Performs routine roof inspections and preventive maintenance, adhere to manufacture warranties, assist and advise Project Managers on roofing projects, provide roofing reports.
Performs wide range of metal repairs; flashings, wall panels, fascia, soffit and gutters
