Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Plant Manager to oversee all aspects of our metal fabrication operations. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient operations, high-quality production, and compliance with ISO standards. This role requires a strong background in continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, and extensive experience in metal fabrication.

Key Responsibilities:

1.  **Operational Management: **

• Oversee daily plant operations, ensuring efficient and effective production processes.
• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with ISO standards and other relevant quality manufacturing systems.

2.  **Continuous Improvement: **

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives using lean manufacturing principles to optimize processes, reduce waste, and increase efficiency.
• Manage non-conformance reports and corrective preventive action processes.

3.  **Team Leadership: **

• Lead, coach, and mentor a team of supervisors, engineers, and production staff to achieve operational excellence.
• Promote a safe and healthy work environment, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

4.  **Financial Management: **

• Develop and manage plant budgets, ensuring cost control and profitability.

5.  **Customer Focus:

• Collaborate with sales, engineering, and customer service teams to ensure customer requirements are met and exceeded.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business, or a related field.
• Extensive experience in metal fabrication and a leadership role for more than five years.
• Strong background in continuous improvement and lean manufacturing principles.
• Extensive experience with ISO standards and quality management systems.
• Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in manufacturing software tools.
