Role Overview:

As a Junior Snacks Buyer, you will play a vital role in our team's success by managing the procurement and delivery of products within assigned categories. You'll collaborate closely with senior leadership to achieve company objectives while upholding our commitment to quality and service.

Key Responsibilities:

Procurement Excellence: Order products to meet demand forecasts, ensuring the best possible costs, quality, and service levels.

Policy Adherence: Follow established policies and procedures diligently to maintain operational integrity and efficiency.

Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels to meet goals while minimizing distress and ensuring high service levels.

Stakeholder Collaboration: Interface with various departments to facilitate smooth operations and foster strong vendor relationships.

Financial Accountability: Review acquisition costs and manage accounts payable processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications:

Experience: Minimum of 8 years in purchasing or vendor management, preferably in the grocery or related industries.

Skills: Strong organizational and analytical abilities with proficiency in MS Office. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.

Knowledge: Understanding of grocery procurement, logistics, and inventory management practices is highly beneficial.
