Job Description

Our client, the leading governance, risk and compliance (GRC) SaaS company, is looking for IT Project Manager (100% Remote) based out of New York.

Duration: Long term contract (Possibility of further extension)

Report to the Senior Business Technology Program Manager, this role will report to the

Business Technology Senior Program Manager and work directly with stakeholders across the business including functional business leaders as well as Business Technology engineers to drive completion of a business-critical employee service/ticketing RFP and MVP.

Responsibilities:

• Lead an RFP to evaluate employee service/ticketing platforms for our 2,500 employee  organization
  
• After successful RFP, resource will serve as the lead PM on MVP implementation of the chosen employee service/ticketing platform. This includes day-to-day management of project activities, internal project team and external vendor resources ensuring project is completed on time,  within scope and budget
  
• Ownership of requirements elicitation and documentation for our service platform MVP i mplementation
  
• Coordination with cross-functional stakeholders e.g. scheduling meetings, setting stakeholder  expectations
  
• Vendor management throughout the RFP and during the MVP implementation with our  vendor’s recommended implementation partner
  
• Ownership of weekly project status meetings, project updates, and project risks and  dependencies
  
• Work with business leaders to identify business process gaps, ideate through improvements and develop detailed plan for improvement implementation. Areas of process improvement include  SaaS spend management and reporting, license management, and other areas
  

Education/Skills:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in IT project management with history of successfully leading vendor RFPs
  
• Familiarity with ITSM concepts and projects including the latest in industry best-of-breed platforms and practices around employee service. ServiceNow, Atlassian JSM, Zendesk, and Freshworks familiarity preferred
  
• Experience with driving RFPs for employee service/ticketing platforms
  
• Comfortable organizing and leading meetings with a broad group of stakeholders including executives
  
• Comfortable leading projects with a broad group of stakeholders including executives
  
• Ability to manage project risks through a proactive approach and RAID log management
