Interim CFO
We are seeking a qualified Interim Chief Financial Officer for a long-term remote interim three-to-nine-month interim assignment.

Responsibilities:
Interim Financial Management: Oversee the organization's financial operations, including budgeting, financial planning, cash flow management, and financial reporting, to ensure financial stability and transparency.
Strategic Planning: Develop and implement financial strategies and initiatives to support the organization's short-term and long-term goals, including growth, profitability, and sustainability.
Stakeholder Communication: Communicate financial information, analysis, and recommendations to senior management, board of directors, investors, lenders, and other stakeholders to provide transparency and support strategic decision-making.
Team Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to the finance team, including mentoring, coaching, and developing staff to ensure effective financial management and operations during the interim period.
Interim Management: Serve as a temporary member of the executive leadership team, collaborating with other department heads and stakeholders, and representing the organization's financial interests during the interim period.
Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, assess financial performance, and provide insights to senior management and stakeholders to support decision-making.
Financial Reporting: Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and financial projections, in compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards.
Transition Planning: Assist in the transition process to ensure a smooth handover of financial responsibilities to permanent leadership, including documenting processes, providing training, and supporting the onboarding of a new CFO or finance team.
Qualifications:
Financial Leadership Experience: Significant experience in senior financial leadership roles, including CFO, VP of Finance, or Controller positions, ideally across multiple industries and organizations.
Proven Track Record: A track record of success in providing financial leadership and guidance to an organization(s) undergoing transition, such as a merger and acquisition, restructuring, leadership changes, or rapid growth. Demonstrated ability to quickly understand complex financial environments and drive positive outcomes.
Financial Expertise: A strong background in finance, accounting, and financial analysis, including a deep understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling. Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards.
Strategic Vision: The ability to think strategically and provide insights into financial implications of organizational decisions.
Change Management Skills: Experience in managing organizational change and transition effectively, including implementing process improvements, cost-saving measures, and other initiatives to drive efficiency and effectiveness in financial operations.
Communication and Stakeholder Management: Effectively communicate financial information, analysis, and recommendations to senior management, board members, investors, lenders, and other stakeholders. This includes the ability to build trust, influence decision-making, and navigate complex relationships.
Adaptability and Resilience: Be able to quickly acclimate to new environments, assess challenges, and implement solutions in fast-paced and dynamic situations. The ability to remain calm under pressure and maintain focus on driving results is crucial.
Ethical Standards: Uphold the highest standards of integrity and ethics in all financial matters. This includes ensuring compliance with financial regulations, maintaining accurate and transparent financial records, and acting in the best interests of the organization and its stakeholders.
Compensation & Benefits:
Our Interim CFO roles boast a comprehensive pay scale, spanning from $60 to $130 per hour. In addition to the starting annual salary enjoy access to medical options including dental, vision, life insurance, Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) coverage, and 401(k).
