Your Role
As a Franchise Business Consultant, you will provide guidance and coaching to franchisees and our Operations team to achieve short and long-term company and operational goals. Your expertise in restaurant operations and staff resources will help franchisee owners/operators improve sales, profits, operating standards, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Planning
Implement and execute the Worldwide Operation's Business Plan (rolling 1-, 2-, and 3-year plan) for your district.
Develop and implement a district-wide business plan that includes integrated marketing, operations, training, development, and supply chain strategies.
Establish and implement effective business plans with franchise owners, ensuring specific goals and strategies support our Operations and Marketing Plan.

Consulting
Advise and guide franchisees in developing and managing marketing performance through effective partnerships with departments, vendors, and franchisees.
Help franchisees achieve optimal shift management, food safety, quality, service, cleanliness, repair and maintenance, and atmosphere goals.
Provide financial health advice and counsel to franchisees.
Partner with staff to assist new and existing franchisees in establishing and executing effective development, reinvestment, and renewal strategies.

Other Duties
Support other departments/functions as needed.
Assist with new store openings as required.
Complete ad hoc projects as needed.

Job Requirements
Availability: Occasional evening and weekend hours may be necessary to meet franchisees' business needs.
Certification: ServSafe certification is required.
Communication: Frequent (4+ hours per day) communication via telephone and email.
Travel: Overnight travel for franchisee and staff meetings/visits, averaging two weeks per month. Ability to drive and sit in a vehicle for up to 8 hours per day when traveling. Must be able to be insured by the company's insurance provider.
Physical Requirements: Ability to stand on concrete or tiled floors for up to 8 hours per day when visiting franchise locations. No food or beverage allergies that prevent tasting products or working in and around a restaurant environment. A clean driving record is required.

Education and Experience
Degree: Bachelor's degree in business, restaurant management, or a related field, or equivalent restaurant operations experience.
Experience: 4+ years of restaurant management (multi-unit/high volume preferred) and/or franchise operations management (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).

Skills
Thorough knowledge of the restaurant industry (QSR preferred) and operations.
Proficient in marketing, finance, training, human resources, and development.
Highly organized with attention to detail and accuracy.
Creative thinker with the ability to develop innovative ideas across various business units.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Excellent customer service skills for internal and external clients.
Ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple projects and requests simultaneously.
Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to create mutually beneficial relationships.
Ability to work quickly in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions.

Work Environment
Most positions at our global headquarters in Bloomington, MN, work a hybrid schedule with 2 collaboration days a week. Additional in-office time may be required to support team/project needs. Remote eligibility is considered for candidates outside drivable distance to our Bloomington office.
