The FOC is the Command Center of AWS Data Centers. Our team is responsible for the remote monitoring of Data Center power and cooling infrastructure globally. The FOC is at the forefront of supporting Data Center critical teams, and initiating immediate event response.

Role Overview:
As a FOC Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our onsite operations teams by providing remote monitoring of Data Center infrastructure. Your expertise in critical facility infrastructure and your ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting will contribute to the overall success of our operations.

Key job responsibilities
- Analyze alarm monitoring systems, and follow escalation processes
- Review work requests from field technicians for compliance
- Create and document tickets
- Act as a key point of contact for onsite Data Center teams, offering support to optimize facility operations
- Maintain a solid understanding of critical facility infrastructure
- Execute vision and goals for the team or department
- Ability to support a 40-hour workweek, including weekends and holidays, as part of a fixed-shift schedule in our 24/7 operations environment

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 2+ years of Command Control Center and/or relevant work experience in a critical facility environment
- 2+ years of Technical (Military/Trade School) training and/or experience or Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent
- Work a flexible schedule including weekends, and/or holidays
