Job Description

Join our team and help us build a better future! We're a company dedicated to providing expert consulting solutions to utilities and associated organizations across the United States. We're passionate about our four strategic pillars: our people, long-term success, doing things right, and the power of education.

About the Role:

We're looking for a talented and motivated ETL and Integrations Developer to join our team. Reporting to the Lead Business Analyst, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining and optimizing ETL pipelines, developing integrations across our critical business systems, and ensuring data flows seamlessly to support decision-making and operations. This role requires technical expertise in databases, ETL processes, and integrations, along with a curious and self-motivated approach to solving complex data challenges.

What You'll Do:

Maintain and Optimize ETL Pipelines: Oversee and maintain existing ETL workflows, diagnose and resolve issues, and organize and document workflows for improved maintainability.
Develop and Support Integrations: Build and maintain integrations with platforms like Workday and Azure Data Factory, use APIs to connect systems, and utilize GitHub for version control.
Manage and Maintain Existing Databases: Ensure the health and performance of SQL Server databases, perform regular maintenance tasks, and use T-SQL to troubleshoot and diagnose database-related issues.
Support Data Analysis and Reporting: Build and maintain Power BI dashboards, provide expertise for new reporting needs, and collaborate with teams to optimize reporting workflows.
Document and Manage Knowledge: Capture institutional knowledge by documenting processes, workflows, and technical designs.
Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Partner with IT, operations, and infrastructure teams to align technical solutions with business needs.
Participate in Strategic Projects: Contribute to high-priority projects, such as redesigning databases or supporting database migration and optimization initiatives.
Explore Emerging Technologies: Stay informed about advancements in AI/ML and explore use cases within the Microsoft Stack.
What You'll Bring:

Must Haves:
Bachelor's degree.
Minimum 3 years of experience in ETL development, integration management, or similar roles.
Nice to Haves:
Advanced degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in ETL, data integration, and data optimization.
Your Skills:
Expertise in Azure Data Factory and SQL Server (including T-SQL).
Expertise with Power BI for reporting and dashboarding.
Proficiency in building and maintaining APIs.
Experience with GitHub for version control.
Experience with DBForge.
Experience with Azure DevOps (a plus).
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
Attention to detail for documentation.
This Role Would Not Be a Good Fit If:

You don't enjoy working independently to solve complex technical problems.
You prefer heavily structured environments or need frequent guidance.
You find it challenging to collaborate or stay engaged/productive in a remote setting.
You prefer building exclusively new systems over optimizing existing ones.
You dislike working across multiple small projects or juggling varied responsibilities.
You are not comfortable with technical documentation.
What We Offer:

Health and Safety: Comprehensive group health plans, company-paid life insurance, AD&D insurance, short and long-term disability, Flexible Spending Accounts/Health Saving Account with company match, and a company-paid Employee Assistance Program.
Retirement: Automatic enrollment in the Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) and a 401(k) plan with a company match.
Time Off: Paid vacation and sick time, and paid holidays.
Perks: Company-paid cellphone allowance and tuition reimbursement program.
Comfortable Work Environment: Business casual dress (jeans are welcome!).
Where We Work:

This is a remote position. Standard office equipment will be provided. A dedicated home office space and uninterrupted high-speed internet (minimum 20 mbps) are required. If you cannot meet these requirements, an office space will be provided in Stow, Ohio.

Equal Opportunity Employer:

We are an Equal Employment/Affirmative Action employer and do not discriminate based on sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, race, color, religious creed, national origin, physical or mental disability, protected Veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law. If you need a reasonable accommodation, please contact us at [email address removed]. We are committed to pay equity.
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: $ 66,424.00 Per Year
