Job Description

The Houston-based EDI and Data Analyst will have the responsibility of coordinating and overseeing the accuracy and completeness of our system data. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring our data systems are dependable and efficient, which is essential for our operational success. You will be accountable for the daily monitoring and reporting of EDI transactions, as well as identifying any unsuccessful EDIs. Furthermore, you will collaborate closely with various teams in order to resolve these failures, acting as a point of contact between the business and technical aspects of the organization. In this capacity, you will identify the needs, communicate findings, and provide recommendations.

Requirements

• Collaborate with stakeholders, clients, and technical teams to collect, evaluate, and document requirements for software and systems solutions.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of system requirements, workflows, and processes.
• Manage data in the Dynamics 365 system, ensuring accurate day-to-day data entry.
• Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills, meticulous attention to detail, exceptional accuracy, and a penchant for logical thinking.
• Engage with all parties involved in data setup and resolution to ensure smooth processes without any data errors.
• Partner with sales and logistics teams to guarantee data integrity and operational efficiency.
• Establish and maintain databases, reorganizing data into easily readable formats.
• Analyze data to evaluate its quality and significance.
• Effectively communicate with cross-functional departments.
• Perform other tasks as necessary to meet business requirements.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software tools.
• Experience with SQL, scripting, and programming languages such as Python and JavaScript.
• Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.
• Outstanding project management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Proficient in Power BI.
