Position Overview:

The Auction Pickup Specialist is responsible for ensuring a seamless auction pickup experience for winning bidders. This role emphasizes customer service and item pickup accuracy, requiring strong organizational skills and a keen eye for detail. The Specialist will focus on:

• Verifying item accuracy
• Assisting bidders
• Ensuring the property is handled with care

Key Responsibilities:

• Item Pickup & Accuracy:

  • Verify that all auction items are correctly identified and matched with winning bidders.
  • Ensure the safe and accurate handling of items during pickup, minimizing the risk of damage.

• Customer Service:

  • Communicate with winning bidders to confirm pickup times and provide clear instructions.
  • Assist bidders during the pickup process, addressing any questions or concerns they may have.

• Property Protection:

  • Supervise the handling of items to ensure the property is protected and no damage occurs.
  • Follow best practices for packing and transporting items to prevent damage.

• Documentation:

  • Take detailed notes on the pickup process, documenting any issues or discrepancies.
  • Report any concerns or feedback regarding the auction pickup day to management.

Qualifications:

• Experience:

  • Previous experience in customer service, logistics, or a similar role is preferred.

• Skills:

  • Strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with bidders.
  • Ability to handle and resolve issues quickly and effectively.

• Other Requirements:

  • Driver's License (Required)
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including Saturdays or evenings, as needed for auction events.

Schedule:

• 4-hour shift
• 8-hour shift
• Day shift
• Evenings as needed
• Saturdays as needed
